Groovy Tuesday

Here is an exercise that teaches the artist to react rather than plan. To rely on instinct rather than knowledge.

Exercise: Begin with a blank canvas. Make your mark using the media of your choice. the next mark you make will be a reaction to the first mark. What kind of reaction? That is up to you.

A well-designed font is a labor of love and its curves, lines and serifs are incarnations of aesthetics that have risen to the peak of visual evolution.

Exercise: Frame and display the letter form of your choice. Place it where it can be contemplated often and leisurely.
